Digital Risk Regulatory Monitoring Specialist (80-100% FTE | Hybrid setup)

Join a team of digital risk governance and controls professionals helping Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As a Digital Risk Regulatory Monitoring Specialist , you will be responsible for supporting Swiss Re's compliance with the relevant digital and technology regulatory requirements across the Swiss Re world.  What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises. 

 


About the team

 

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, corporate security, governance, operational resilience, risk and compliance. Digital Risk Governance & Control is a key part of the Security Team, defining and advancing the company's risk and control strategy for digital-related topics.  Within this team we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated expert who can support our regulatory monitoring framework that helps to drive the company's risk culture.

 


In your role, you will… 

o    Support the regulatory monitoring operating model implemented for Swiss Re's digital and technology scope covering cyber security, general IT, outsourcing, operational resilience and artificial intelligence.  This involves:
•    Monitoring the regulatory landscape for requirements relevant to Swiss Re
•    Assessing Swiss Re's compliance status in accordance with such regulatory requirements
o    Coordinate and manage key stakeholders at group and local legal entity levels to ensure compliance assessments and implementation activities are appropriately and timely performed
o    Provide management information to the different stakeholders
o    Contribute to the ongoing continuous improvement of the regulatory monitoring operating model
o    Join Swiss Re's healthy and transparent risk culture where everyone is responsible for engaging in continuous risk accountability activities

 

 

Your qualifications

•    What we need from you 
o    A good level of understanding of IT environments, processes and controls.  Experience in working with technology related regulations (eg cyber security, operational resilience, outsourcing) is a plus
o    Degree or qualification in Business or IT related subject area or equivalent technical and legal / paralegal experience
o    Passion, drive and a belief in the value of digital and technology risk management as an enabler of business performance 
o    The ability to communicate, collaborate and influence across a broad spectrum of stakeholders – including IT security teams, technology management and legal & compliance experts
o    A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, and composure under pressure 
o    Fluency in spoken and written English.  Other languages are a plus.

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,200] and [EUR 3,700] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: 
•    the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, 
•    the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience. 
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
