You have a Bachelor, Master, or PhD degree with less than 3 years of professional experience – we invite you to apply to our Graduate Programme which officially starts on 1 September 2025.
The programme offers you the chance to join the dynamic, fast-moving world of a leading risk knowledge organisation. Over an 18-month period, you will receive on- and off-the-job training, including a job rotation that gives you the opportunity to work across different lines of business and departments.
About the Role
As a graduate in our Digital Transformation team, you’ll be at the core of driving innovation and strategic initiatives within Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (CorSo), with a primary focus on Risk Engineering Services (RES) globally. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape and implement digital transformation strategies, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and evolving environment.
With the guidance of experienced professionals, you’ll contribute to key initiatives that enhance RES products, service offerings, and operational processes—including the development of cutting-edge risk assessment platforms and tools. You’ll have the opportunity to explore, recommend, and implement innovative solutions that create lasting competitive advantages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the RES Management Team in defining and executing their business and innovation strategy
- Translating the RES Strategy Roadmap into concrete digital innovation opportunities, including the exploration and development of new business models
- Assessing, prioritizing, and evaluating potential opportunities based on measurable business impact, investment needs, and strategic alignment
- Driving digital transformation initiatives and supporting the execution of business-critical projects
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Product Owners, Technology Leads, Business Leads, and Data Scientists—to ensure successful end-to-end implementation
- Leading change management activities to facilitate smooth adoption of new solutions and processes
About the Team
You’ll be joining our dynamic and global Property and Casualty Digital Transformation Team, part of CorSo’s Innovation & Transformation (CITO) unit. Our vision is to reshape commercial insurance and enhance customer experiences through data-driven innovation, technology enablement, and co-creation with customers and partners. About You
You are an ambitious, proactive, and energetic team player with a passion for innovation and digital transformation. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are eager to take on challenges that drive meaningful change.
What We’re Looking For:
- A completed university degree (Master’s preferred) in Business Administration, Business Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and attention to detail
- A fast learner with curiosity and adaptability to new topics and challenges
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment
- A keen interest in insurance/reinsurance and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in insurance/reinsurance or hands-on involvement in technology projects, especially within agile environments
- Management or business consulting experience
- Change management expertise
- Engineering background
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1 600 and EUR 1 900 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognize your achievements.
