Division Operation Office & Market Unit Support Lead

About the role

 

As a new role to be established within Performance, Analytics & Delivery team, you will be responsible for developing and driving the implementation of the Claims North Star initiative within Corporate Solutions (CorSo) Claims, through the management of MU Support team (3 FTEs) as wells as delivering Claims Division Operation Office (DOO) key activities.

 

This position requires a combination of strategic planning, organizational skills, and leadership to manage day-to-day operations, coordinate with various departments, and drive continuous improvement. It reports to the Head Performance, ​Analytics & Delivery and will be based in Bratislava.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Resource Allocation: Managing the allocation of resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to optimize performance and productivity
  • Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring Market Unit (MU) Support team, dedicated to Claims North Star execution and claims day-to-day business within each MU fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Claims North Star:  
    • Support implementation of the long-term vision and strategy for CorSo Claims in conjunction with our executive team
    • Support the development and implementation of strategic priorities
    • Support MU Heads/Leads in dedicated initiatives related to Claims North Star (in connection with MU Support team)
  • Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular reports on the division's operations, progress, and challenges to Claims Leadership team and other functions when needed, in connection with Management Information (MI) team within Performance, ​Analytics & Delivery team
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinating and communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration

About You

 

  • University degree in business administration, economics or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience and a proven track record in roles of project & change management, operational excellence or driving innovation topics. Certifications in process improvement (e.g. PMP, Lean Six Sigma) or Project Management preferred
  • Experience in handling multiple projects and priorities in parallel and coordinating complex assignments
  • Excellent story lining and presentation skills (e.g. PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage the needs and expectations of clients and other stakeholders
  • Results oriented, "can-do" mentality complemented with a self-starter mentality and an ability to work independently
  • Ability to gather varying stakeholder requirements and to develop pragmatic, efficient processes
  • Ability to work in the face of complexity, conflicting pressures and ambiguous or changing circumstances
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g. European) is a plus 
  • Affinity to innovative technologies (e.g. GenAI, LLM) and data & analytics a big plus
  • Experience in Primary Insurance market and dedicated Claims experience appreciated, but not mandatory

 

For Slovakia, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,900 and 4,900 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity, and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
