About the Role
This is a key position within iptiQ's L&H Digital Platform IT team and a unique opportunity to build and enhance our Digital Platform.
The team and technology play a key role in helping to cultivate a culture of technology excellence, automation, digitisation and better exploitation of data to further enable and accelerate iptiQ's growth ambitions.
We are looking for a passionate Product Owner for a part of our digital platform with strong agile product management skills who will drive the development of our platform for the actuarial services domain as part of a multi-disciplinary agile development team.
Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver the pricing engine and corresponding framework and processes

Perform the required actuarial analysis and build the models and provide analytical insights

Develop and maintain strong relationships and communicate effectively on regular basis with internal partners across all functions

Gather requirements together with the product management team

Take ownership for refining the requirements of your domain from a business and technical perspective

Being able to abstract requirements coming from various collaborators, defining product business solutions and liaise with your agile team to transform them into platform capabilities and features

Define the mid-term and long-term roadmap for your platform domain(s) in collaboration with other domain owners and the overall platform product management

Synchronize with other domains to jointly develop cross-domain features

Help to investigate the cause of production issues and propose possible solutions

Prioritize, maintain and update user stories

About the Team
IptiQ opens up attractive new risk pools through insurtech operating entities (OEs) within the primary insurance.
As wholly owned businesses of Swiss Re, our shared mission is to help close the protection gap in the market and provide digital insurance solutions, primary insurance knowledge, new tools, and insights that will help reach new markets and offer new products.
As part of iptiQ, the Platform Team collaborates with the iptiQ OEs to support them in achieving their goals by delivering innovative and effective digital capability for their distribution partners.
About You
Professional Experience
-
A University degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related field with mathematical skills and analytical ability
-
Relevant work experience of 5+ years in primary insurance and/or a consulting environment with focus on model development for primary life insurance products.

Used to work in project environments. Experience working on an Agile (e.g. with SAFe) project and collaboration tools is a plus.

Actuarial pricing skills and experience in applying the actuarial control cycle.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with analytical, critical thinking and independent decision-making abilities.

Strong teammate who is passionate about the success of the business and comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Experience in business analysis and as a product owner is a plus

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 3200 EUR full time.
