Employment Legal Counsel (hybrid)

About the role

 

We are looking for a colleague to mainly help with global projects and to provide some local employment law advice.

 

Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Prepare presentations and legal analysis on global employment law topics;

  • Provide timely, high quality legal advice on employee matters and clearly articulating legal risks and opportunities;

  • Advise and support HR, and other partners on a variety of employment law matters, including the establishment and maintenance of efficient legal processes to follow local law and regulations as well as internal requirements;

  • Drafting, review and negotiation of a wide range of HR related agreements and legal documents

We are a multi-jurisdictional team composed of legal counsels based in locations across globe (including Slovakia), coordinating and providing employment law support to HR globally.

About You

 

  • professional qualification to practice law with a strong background in employment law;

  • keen interest in translating employment law requirements into business;

  • ability to run multiple projects or cases in parallel, have strong project and process management skills and be able to prioritize and coordinate.

  • curious to learn about other countries, interested in comparing and analyzing similarities as well as differences in various locations across world and navigation through those;

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect the dots and create for internal partners a picture out of single smaller pieces;

  • agile, flexible, open-minded, hands on and can-do approach even in complex situations with time pressure;

  • analytical, pragmatic, outcome focused;

  • ability to work independently but are also a very reliable teammate; team spirit, collaboration;

  • accountable, attention to details, take responsibility and ownership;

  • proficient in Slovak and English; additional languages are a plus;

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1 800 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group.
