Executive Office Manager for Public Sector Solutions

The Executive Office Manager for Public Sector Solutions ensures the effective operation of the Public Sector Solutions (PSS) leadership office by driving key meeting and stakeholder engagement routines, coordinating reporting and committee deliverables, and managing executive workflows. The role provides operational discipline, consistency, and timely delivery across the global PSS team, enabling the Head of PSS and leadership to focus on commercial priorities.

 

About the role

 

This role will report into the Head of Corporate Solutions CEO Office so that this person can cross-fertilise ideas and lessons learned from the breadth of the Corporate Solutions office, represent PSS in those forums, and where capacity allows, the successful candidate will also be involved in Corporate Solutions-related tasks. There are executive/ team assistants in the global PSS team who lead on all diary management, logistics and other team assistant tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Executive & Leadership Support

 

  • Coordinate with PSS Client Managers and PSS origination centre and prepare materials for leadership routines, including Executive Committee updates, Board sessions, and Group reporting requirements
  • Support content-wise preparation of PSS leadership meetings, townhalls, and global offsites, ensuring clear agendas, documentation, and tacking follow-up of all tasks assigned and Task Planner is kept up to date
  • Take minutes during PSS leadership team meetings, ensuring clarity of action points and decisions, and track follow-up to ensure timely execution
  • Draft speeches, talking points, and briefing packs for high-profile internal and external engagements

 

Operational Coordination and Projects

 

  • Maintain internal stakeholder maps and contact list mechanisms
  • Provide additional operational support during peak periods with key global events (e.g., WEF, COP), including briefing materials
  • Manage all year-end review process and goal setting including KPI and performance management process including calibration
  • Lead PSS NPS and Pulse and other stakeholder feedback projects
  • Lead budget planning exercise and cost monitoring including cost allocation process
  • Lead other ad hoc projects

 

Team Enablement & Knowledge Management

 

  • Drive onboarding for new joiners across the PSS team, with a focus on embedding team and company best practices (e.g., pipeline maintenance, document storage, drafting of discussion notes, and related processes)
  • Maintain PSS knowledge platforms (Teams Channel, trackers etc.), ensuring content is current, accessible, properly stored and consistently used
  • Facilitate cross-regional communication and knowledge sharing routines to strengthen collaboration

 

 

About the Team

 

Our PSS team is focused on, for Swiss Re Group, public sector institutions with non-standard buying behaviour, influences and/or needs driven by unique political or budgetary considerations, motivations, gestation periods and/or procurement processes impacting decision-making, solution design and/or execution. This includes:

  1. Governments at central, state, and municipal levels
  2. State-backed risk pools, captives and international sovereign risk pools
  3. Publicly-owned Export Credit Agencies
  4. World Bank, UN Agencies and IMF, and other Supranational & Development Finance Institutions; and
  5. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

 

The team is a global team with market units in i. United States, ii. Mexico (& Latin America), iii. UK (& Ireland), iv. ANZ & China, v. Switzerland & Rest of World, vi. Canada and vii. Germany.

 

About You

 

  • 5+ years of experience in business excellence relating to operational, governance, or business management roles in a financial or professional services setting
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; able to manage deadlines across stakeholders and time zones
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across seniority levels and functions
  • Confident in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, with strong exposure to the broker ecosystem
  • Comfortable working independently, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset

 

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,900 and 4,800 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
