About the Team


FP&A Corporate Functions has over 40 colleagues located in various destinations, where we manage together a 2.2 bn USD budget. The team manages the planning & controlling and service management. It plays a key role in achieving the financial targets and providing the management teams with data for improving the steering and financial oversight.

 

About the role 


 
As a student support in FP&A Corporate Functions department you will be involved in activities related to financial planning, analysis and cost controlling. What exactly would be your responsibility?
  

Main duties    

•    Support of FP&A Corporate Functions Finance Partner/s in daily operation.
•    Data reconciliation & ad-hoc analysis.
•    Communication with other departments (e.g., Procurement, Accounting, etc.).
•    Working with the financial planning system, as well as other various software applications.
•    Creation of purchase requisitions & administration of purchase orders.
•    Preparation & processing of budget shifts.
•    Assist with special projects driven by FP&A Corporate Functions


About you


•    University student, preferably Accounting or Finance/Banking.
•    Finance/Accounting experience is an advantage.
•    English proficient written and spoken.
•    Particularly good comprehension of MS Excel.
•    Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
•    Teammate with an effective communication skill.
•    Flexible and open for new tasks/challenges, willing to learn.

Minimum base salary for this job from 7 EUR gross/hour. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group.  
  
This is a student contract role - 50% working degree / 20hrs weekly.
