About the Team

 

FP&A Corporate Functions has over 40 colleagues located in various destinations, where we manage together a 2.2 bn USD budget. The team manages the planning & controlling and service management. It plays an important role in achieving the financial targets and providing the management teams with data for improving the steering and financial oversight.

 


About the Role

 

You will join the Financial Planning & Analysis Corporate Functions team as a Finance Partner. 

This position requires an expert controller with a strong functional overview of a large operation and several years of experience in a comparable role within a multicultural environment, along with solid analytical and reporting skills. As the role involves interaction with senior stakeholders on financial matters, strong communication skills are also essential. 

 

 

Main responsibilities:

    • Management of all financial planning and controlling related topics, including service cost management, and accruals for the departments in your responsibility
    • Resources planning and controlling
    • Analyses and reporting on financials, staffing or service mappings, ensuring Department Heads, cost center owners, sponsors and product owners have relevant information at their fingertips to steer and run their services
    • Implementation of budget shifts to and from your departments, manage budget expansions and reductions
    • Sparring partner for the Management Team of the department
    • Dealing with continuous change and responsible for the planning of financial and people resources during transformations and reorganizations
    • Support teams depending on their needs, with both classical and agile budgeting methods
    • Support the procurement process with regards to the creation of purchase orders, controlling of cost and budget positions
    • Maintain and improve an efficient and proper and at the same time flexible controlling and planning framework
    Be the liaison with other finance related areas like Accounts Payables, Sourcing Support, Procurement, and local accounting teams

About You

 

  • University degree or diploma in controlling/finance or equivalent
  • Around 6-9 years of experience in a related field
  • Self-motivated, proactive and customer focused mentality
  • Strong conceptual capabilities
  • Excellence in MS Excel/MS PowerPoint (and preferably in Think-cell)
  • Above average financial competence
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery
  • Stature and confidence to interact at Senior Management level
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Able to deliver high quality also under pressure

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,100 and 3,400 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
