Governance & Operations Manager (Temporary)
Are you a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex topics and improving how things work? Do you thrive in complex, fast-moving environments where your work directly shapes how a global function operates?
Join Swiss Re's Group Legal & Compliance function and play a central role in driving critical governance, risk, operational and reporting activities across a truly global organization. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, take ownership of important topics and have the opportunity to make a real, visible impact.
About the Role
As Governance & Operations Manager, you'll be a trusted operational partner at the heart of Swiss Re's Legal & Compliance function. You'll own key governance, risk and operational activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of how the function operates.
Your responsibilities will span end-to-end ownership of selected operational frameworks, operational risk management and internal reporting. With operational risk as a key focus, you'll go beyond coordinating core processes, controls and reporting: you'll exercise judgment, advise and constructively challenge stakeholders, and help develop pragmatic solutions. You'll also contribute to broader operational priorities across the team, including financial management.
The role offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders across Legal & Compliance and beyond, giving you a unique perspective on how a global function operates and a strong platform for future development within Swiss Re.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position. There may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent beyond the initial term.

Internal Reporting
- Prepare and oversee internal reporting deliverables and key performance indicators
- Support management decision-making through timely, accurate and insightful reporting
