About the Role

Swiss Re will adopt IFRS in 2024 and you have an exciting and outstanding opportunity to join the IFRS project.
We are looking for a highly motivated IFRS Project Manager. 

Your main responsibilities 
•    Coordinate and contribute to the assessment and implementation of IFRS, including selection of policy accounting choices, assessment of insurance contracts under IFRS, etc. 
•    Contribute to impact assessment of the adoption of IFRS to the Corporate Solutions business
•    Work together with IT department to ensure IFRS requirements are properly addressed
•    Be involved in agile tests and dry runs
•    Support setting up transition balances and prepare comparatives
•    Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts in Finance, Risk Management, Underwriting and other functions
•    Support line organization as needed

About You

•    You come with a minimum of 8 years of experience in an Accounting/Finance function and relevant project management experience
•    Strong knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products advantageous
•    Accounting certification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) a plus
•    Solid understanding of IFRS, US GAAP and/or local statutory principles
•    Ability to sustain high level of work output and meet very tight deadlines
•    Ability to work remotely and with people across locations and time zones
•    Strong analytical and organizational skills
•    You are proficient in English – verbal and written communication


Minimum base salary for this job from 2500 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.*
