IT Business Analyst - General Ledger: Subledger & Group Integration

About the role

• We offer an excellent opportunity to work with the latest SAP technologies (SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA 2.0)
• SAP customizing, system parametrization, IT business analysis, testing, maintenance of productive IT solutions, incident handling, quarter-end close support, and investigations in the areas of subledger Integration, validations and substitutions and support of IT interfaces
• Translate business requirements into functional designs and system specifications, covering all aspects of the solution including testing and deployment
• Analyze, refine, and discuss requirements for new solutions and improvements in close collaboration with business experts, SAP consultants, and application engineers
• Work closely with ABAP developers during the realization phase to ensure an accurate understanding and implementation of business requirements

About the team

The General Ledger: Subledger & Group Integration team operates as a squad within an agile DevOps operating model, with end-to-end responsibility (development & change management across the full life cycle) for the product.
With a strong “leadership from every seat” mindset, the team jointly owns the quality and success of closing processes. SAP General Ledger functionalities play a key in delivering financial statements for both internal and external reporting requirements.
To ensure the General Ledger Product meets business expectations, the team collaborates closely with all stakeholders enabling short feedback cycles and continuous functional improvements.

About you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Finance, or Business field 
• Relevant experience in a role such as IT Business Analyst or IT Specialist
• SAP General Ledger domain experience is an advantage
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL and HANA querying
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to data quality, with a solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and willingness to learn new technologies
• Background in Finance or Reinsurance / Insurance domain is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and IT perspectives
• "Can do" behaviour
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps and Confluence
• Team player who performs well both independently and in collaborative environments

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,200 and EUR 3,700 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​
