IT Business Analyst
About the role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our financial planning team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong data engineering expertise with a solid understanding of financial processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and optimization of financial planning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs and provide technology solutions that meet those needs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to capture, define, and document business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications and system solutions.
- Perform data analysis to support business decision-making.
- Work closely with the product delivery lead and software developers to design and implement solutions.
- Plan, execute, and document system testing to validate that requirements are fully met.
- Provide technical support and training to business stakeholders on the use of financial planning tools and systems.
- Work closely with globally distributed IT and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of financial planning systems with other enterprise systems.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of financial planning processes and tools to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system workflows.

About You:
You will work as a member of our dynamic financial planning team. Your work will have a direct impact on streamlining processes, improving system functionality, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a IT Business Analyst or in a similar technical/business analysis role.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with application development and databases, proficient in SQL.
- A willingness to explore and work with new technologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Palantir Foundry or financial planning platforms.
- Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis processes.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices for ensuring data quality.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,200] and [EUR 3,700] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
