About the Role

As an IT Business Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our digital transformation journey, working on sophisticated applications that serve both internal teams and external clients. You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver solutions that revolutionize how we assess risks, track cases, and provide valuable insights through reporting and dashboard capabilities.

 Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and define solutions for sophisticated business requirements - gather business requirements and specify functional and non-functional specifications
• Craft and refine risk assessment and decision models that drive our business operations
• Conceptualize innovative projects that advance our technological capabilities
• Bridge the gap between business needs and Information Technology solutions
• Collaborate with designers and UX experts on building effective prototypes
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies with our development partners
• Improve and enhance the quality of applications and development processes
• Maintain high standards for requirements and specification documents
• Share knowledge and support team members and peers across the organization
• Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality
• Provide business operations support to ensure smooth functioning of systems

About the Team

You'll join our high-performing global IT team focused on supporting the Life & Health Reinsurance business using state-of-the-art application and analytics platforms. Our team enables effective processing, monitoring, and steering of business through advanced technology solutions. We combine business analysis expertise with UI/UX specialists and development partners who bring in-depth knowledge in both reinsurance and IT domains.

About You

You're an analytical problem-solver with excellent communication skills who thrives in a collaborative environment. You can translate complex technical concepts into clear language for diverse audiences and are passionate about creating user-friendly solutions that address real business challenges.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in business analysis
• Demonstrable understanding of and ability to apply usability principles in solution design
• Experience in agile software development methodology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in English

These are additional nice to haves:

• Experience working with outsourcing partners
• Knowledge of business rules engines
• Background in (re)insurance industry
• Familiarity with project management methods

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,200 and EUR 3,700 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​
