About the Role

 

The position holder will focus on developing and supporting the asset management data warehouse operation that is the backbone of AM's analytics & reporting, as well as involvement into the project work to re-engineer it into the public cloud.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Development and operation of asset management DWH.

  • Independently analyse business requirements and design solutions to improve the business processes and operational procedures.

  • Full development lifecycle activities: development, deployment, maintenance of various environments or fixing defects, with a flair for constant improvement and DevOps

  • Involvement in and/or leading the full delivery cycle

  • Ensure smooth operation and system stability, provide 3rd level support of the asset management DWH.

  • Provide support and mentoring in technical topics to junior colleagues

  • Creation of accurate and relevant documentation.

  • Support AM's project aiming at the migration of asset management DWH to cloud.

 

About You

 

  • 5+ years of working experience in data warehouse development

  • Practical work experience in financial markets and products

  • Practical work experience with RDMS database such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL

  • High level of knowledge of data engineering including skills with SQL, Docker Kubernetes, Kafka, or Spark preferred

  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new and emerging technologies in the data & analytics space, as well as development methodologies

  • Knowledge of public cloud, Azure preferred

  • Experience with DB performance tuning using explain plan, indexing and hints.

  • Designing and executing test plans and performing gap analysis to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled

  • Proficiency in data modelling, data architecture and data driven storytelling

  • Strong communication and good command of English (both verbal and written),

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to present proposals and outcomes of work to senior stakeholders

  • Experience within an Agile/Scrum development methodology

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

  • Ability to work with global team

  • Flexible and open to new ideas

Minimum base salary for this job from 2700 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.
