IT Technical Application Specialist - Maternity Cover
About the role
The position holder will focus on technical support of the Investment Accounting subledger application. Candidate will work with a Business Analysis and development team to analyse, develop and maintain technical solutions. The system is ETL based and processes large data volumes on enterprise database platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of multiple IT systems within the scope of the financial accounting solution
- Third level production support, application users support including occasional off hour support
- Root cause analysis, design and development of issue fixes and change requests
- Interaction with the business analysts and users
- Various run activities like deployment, maintenance of various test environments
- Involvement in the full testing cycle, especially unit, regression, and UAT testing
- Creation of accurate and relevant documentation
About you
- Experience with Oracle database development or equivalent (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Experience with Unix shell scripting a plus
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter a plus
- Willingness to learn and to work in a global team
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,200] and [EUR 3,700] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
