Bratislava, SK
Insurance Partner Associate with Spanish
Are you ready to make a real impact in a truly international environment? Do you enjoy the freedom to work independently, while being part of a supportive, hard-working, and globally connected team? If you're looking for a role where your ideas matter and your work has global reach — we'd love to hear from you!
About the Role
At Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, we work with trusted Insurance Partners — external insurance companies — in countries where we don't have local servicing capabilities. These partners help us serve our global clients wherever they operate, issuing policies and managing claims.
As an Insurance Partner Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of international insurance programs for large corporate clients. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role ideal for someone who thrives on communication, problem-solving, and operating in a fast-paced international environment — someone who is energised by variety and can confidently manage a high volume of tasks and requests while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of requests across your portfolio, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines and client expectations
- Support policy issuance — quotations, policies, and invoices — ensuring accuracy and timeliness through quality checks
- Document partner and market insights to support a shared knowledge base and drive process improvements
- Drive process improvement by creating and updating clear guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with LATAM colleagues, including occasional calls in the later afternoon hours (once or twice per week) to align across time zones
About the Team
Swiss Re's International Program Services Team plays a key role in delivering insurance solutions to global clients with operations across multiple countries. Our team is based in Bratislava, Kuala Lumpur, and Mexico City, ensuring closeness to our network partners and making sure everything runs smoothly — from policy quotation to premium collection. We are a collaborative, multicultural team that values curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who brings strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to stay composed and effective when managing a high volume of work. You are goal-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable navigating a multicultural, international environment. You take ownership of your work, build trusted relationships across borders, and bring a proactive approach to problem-solving.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Professional experience in Operations, Finance, or International Business
- Proficiency in Business English AND Spanish (written and spoken) — essential for supporting our LATAM partner network
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of tasks, balancing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships in a multicultural environment
- Flexibility and availability to participate in occasional calls with LATAM colleagues during later afternoon hours (once or twice per week), in line with regional time zones
- Goal-oriented and self-driven approach, with a willingness to work both independently and as part of a team
These are additional nice to haves:
- Previous experience in the re/insurance industry
- Familiarity with international insurance programs or global client servicing
- Experience working with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or process documentation
