Your specific responsibilities will include:
 
•    You are responsible for custody, market data & external investment manager billing including associated tasks such a cost forecast, sanity checks, and fee reports
•    You ensure the golden copy list for market data vendors is accurate and that all essential information is on file
•    While supporting the selection of partner banks and market data vendors, you take care of the necessary logistics & governance as well as organize roadshows and draw up presentations
•    You support ongoing projects and initiatives as they arise from a logistical point of view
•    You work hand-in hand with the team lead in running Swiss Re's FinTech Guild - a global community where like-minded people, ideas, challenges and use cases around financial technology come together
•    You help to organize industry round tables, webinars, and other virtual events.

 

This is a Temporary 2 year maternity cover.


About the Team
 
We are a 4-person team with members in Zurich and Bratislava and part of Group Asset Management. Our team is responsible for banking (custodian) relationships Group Asset Management needs to carry out its investment activities as well as Market Data with Asset Management. We conduct benchmarkings, screen the market for new products and lead a group wide FinTech group. 
Tasks within the team are equally distributed among the 3 senior members who you will support / work with daily.   


About You
 
•    Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or equivalent
•    Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in either Financial Services, Securities Services, Custody or Market Data a clear differentiator, but not required 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
•    Strong in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
•    Previous experiences of working in a global team welcomed
•    Independent workstyle, hands on, tech-savvy and ability to deliver high-quality work under time pressure
•    Not only open-minded, creative, and curious, but also a strong eye on details
•    Likes to liaise with internal / external clients / stakeholders daily 
•    Outstanding teammate

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1500 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group.
