Investment Operations Specialist
Join our Asset Management Operations team and contribute to the day-to-day investment activities of one of the world’s leading reinsurance companies. This specialized back-office position allows you to leverage your expertise in managing investment account operations while collaborating with global custodian banks.
About the Role
As an Investment Operations Specialist within Asset Management Operations, you'll ensure our investment infrastructure runs smoothly across our worldwide network of custodian banks. This back-office role offers the opportunity to apply your experience in investment operations while serving as an operational counterpart for our custodian banks.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment account management - Execute and oversee the opening, maintenance, and termination of investment accounts with our global network of custodian banks and in our internal systems
- Execute and coordinate KYC processes - Prepare documentation and coordinate KYC onboardings and recertifications including reverse KYC
- Business communication - Help facilitate effective communication between local and global teams, custodian banks, vendors, and stakeholders
- Lead process improvements - Identify, develop, and implement improvements for tasks, reports, and processes to enhance operational efficiency
About the Team
Our Asset Management Operations team creates an efficient operating environment that supports all financial market activities conducted by Swiss Re. As a back-office function, we ensure the seamless execution of investment processes. Our company invests in a multitude of innovative products and asset classes, including catastrophe bonds, infrastructure loans, private equity funds, derivatives and many more. About You
You're an experienced financial back-office professional with strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset. You thrive in collaborative corporate environments and possess the confidence to manage complex processes independently. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to communicate across different stakeholder groups make you an ideal candidate to lead critical investment account operations.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Solid investment operations knowledge and experience
- Previous experience with banking operations
- experience with KYC processes, or compliance (preferred but not required)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

The role is on 1 year temporary contract.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1900 and EUR 3300 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
