Junior Account Analyst IFM (Temporary role)

About the Team:
The International Financial Management team plays a crucial role in technically accounting for transactions related to policies in the International Program. Our mission? To ensure efficient and compliant risk transfers and cash flows between local offices and Reinsurance partners, while managing reporting, analytics, and commentaries. As the International Programs continue to expand globally, we're seeking new talent to help us drive success!
About the Role / What You'll Be Doing:
- High-Quality Accounting: Book, reconcile, and settle technical accounts with a focus on data accuracy and efficiency.
- Partner Relations: Produce and deliver monthly statements to our partners.
- Payment Processing: Handle outgoing payments and statements related to assigned International Programs.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Resolve reconciliation discrepancies with internal and external teams.
- Reconciliation Oversight: Ensure proper reconciliation of technical accounts in our administration system and assist Finance with financial ledger reconciliations.
About You:
Essential Skills:
- University degree, ideally in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Prior experience in a finance/accounting role.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel at an advanced level.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex technical issues to a non-expert audience, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- A proactive approach to continuous process improvement.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in Insurance Technical Accounting would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel at an advanced level.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex technical issues to a non-expert audience, both written and verbal.

For Slovakia, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,400 and EUR 2,400 per month for a full-time role.

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
Our company follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be present in the office at least 50% of working time.
