Junior Data Governance Specialist (Hybrid)

We are looking for a data governance specialist to complete our business and data architecture practice! This is a phenomenal opportunity for you to join a select team that is designing and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our data assets for Risk Management (RM).
 

About the role
 

In this hands-on role, you will be a reliable partner to our Data Owners, Data Custodians, Data Users, Data Engineers in all RM functions. You will support them in taking on new challenges and building a future-ready data governance practice. Key tasks will include:
•    Data issue management: Analyse, prioritise and resolve data quality issues by aligning with various stakeholders inside and outside of the risk management department.
•    Data quality reporting: Define, measure, and track data quality metrics (e.g., accuracy, completeness, consistency) for the awareness of data users, data governance representatives and management functions.
•    Information management & data modelling: Understanding, structuring, sounding and maintaining data in a multi-national environment with many lines of businesses.
•    Data governance practice: Support the RM data officer in evolving the data governance practice for risk management in line with policies and guidelines set forth by the group data governance function.
•    Build and maintain a positive relationship with data owners, data users, application owners and project teams.

•    Great communication and diligent documentation skills convey complex data issues to non-technical stakeholders. 
•    You are keen to balance both top-down and bottom-up approaches showing willingness to advance iteratively.
•    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, computer science, information technology, STEM sciences) 

 

Nice-to-haves
•    Work experience in a profession related to data management, data automation, requirement engineering, business analysis or data modelling.
•    Previous experience in the insurance industry or financial industry.

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,300 and EUR 2,100 per month (for a full-time role). 
The specific salary offered considers:
•    the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

•    the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
