Junior DevSecOps Engineer
Our MS Data Services Team of Swiss Re is looking for an enthusiastic Junior DevSecOps Engineer who is ready for an exciting career with us.
We build and maintain shared platform services and do Infrastructure as Code and also AI Ops. Our focus is on self-service multi cloud & amp; self-healing infrastructure, but we also enjoy data engineering. We are a highly skilled team in Bratislava that solves infrastructure and data pipeline problems from around the globe.

To be successful in the role, you need to have these technical skills and knowledge: - Aware how to interact with API and CLI interfaces
- Experience in with Microsoft SQL databases
- Scripting with PowerShell
- Had exposure to or want to learn of programming languages Java, Golang or Python
If you have any of the following experience and interests, it is a huge plus but not required: - Deploying code with CI/CD pipelines
- Background in software engineering or database design
- Understnading basic TSQL queries
- Experience with data transformation, data cleansing or data wrangling
- Experience with Azure Cloud
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,800 and EUR 2,900 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience. In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognize your achievements.
