Knowledge Management Specialist (hybrid)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Support with ongoing review and identification of key skills and capabilities in Operations, understanding the vision and direction of Operations and Life and Health.
  • Continuously Identify skills gaps in Operations in accordance with identified key skills
  • Create new and interesting ways to close gaps e.g. learning and development approaches such as training, development programmes etc
  • Maintain and develop capability assessment framework and ensure good systems for deriving actionable insights from results, as well as link up with other people development processes and systems at Swiss Re
  • Work across networks to collaborate on upskilling delivery, including bringing functional experts in where needed
  • Develop and maintain people development frameworks including new starter induction
  • Work across Business Architecture to ensure people capabilities link up with process, data and tech developments and risk management and quality requirements
  • Assist with preparation and consolidation of training materials as required, and ensure organized central storage for ease of access, where applicable
  • Maintain platforms to enable knowledge exchange and best practice sharing on people related topics across Operations
  • Help to drive 'one Operations' and strong community

 

ABOUT THE TEAM

 

The team consists of 8+ members currently located in different offices across key Swiss Re offices globally, working closely with the Market Units, COO teams, Risk management and IT partners.

You would be working as part of a wider CoE team, which also covers process, data and tech and skills and capabilities pillars.

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • You have proven track record in delivery and execution.
  • You enjoy working with people and have a natural strength in training and other development mechanisms
  • You have deep knowledge of L&H Operations processes and bring an e2e mindset
  • You work effectively with various stakeholders across the value chain and can easily move between operational, technical and technology topics.  You adopt a partnership mindset.
  • You have an eye for detail and a preference to work diligently but with simple and pragmatic approaches
  • You have strong in-person and virtual presentation skills and can create interesting presentation materials in Powerpoint which convey a storyline.
  • You are a strong communicator and can effectively and objectively convey problems and suggest solutions
  • You have excellent organisational skills
  • You have the ability and willingness to challenge the status quo
  • You have excellent command of spoken and written English

 

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 1 800 EUR and 3 000 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

 

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.

 

Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
