L&H UW and Claims Tools Analyst

As a member of the Global Underwriting R&D team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring we provide a premium service to our valued clients, both internal and external.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Global UW Tools Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to support key projects and work closely with a dedicated group of team members. Your role will be instrumental in delivering our underwriting and claims strategy, helping us test and implement new automation tools and supporting our world renown underwriting manual Life Guide. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the successful update and implementation of our tools.

Key responsibilities of the role also include:

  • Supporting our underwriting and claims tools technology enhancements through use case refinements, release and communicating changes internally and externally
  • Support normal technology enhancements and new technology offerings through rigorous detail oriented testing
  • Supporting the delivery, enhancements, and testing of reporting 
  • Supporting the wider Tools team in a variety of different projects  

About You

We're looking for a candidate who excels in swiftly adapting to change, possesses a strong sense of ownership to support technical updates, and shows strength in supporting multiple tools and projects across the Claims and Underwriting value chain. A track record of success through a positive and collaborative approach in prior roles is highly valued.

Essentials:

  • A university degree or equivalent work experience in the business field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in system testing, analytics, technology or innovation (Gen.AI experience a plus).
  • Strong teamwork skills, allowing you to perform at a high level supporting others and independently.

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2100 and EUR 3500 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​

  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.​
