About the role
In this role you would have the outstanding possibility to work on some of the most exciting engineering challenges the industry can offer. You craft and implement reliable, highly parallelized applications hosted on Azure, our public cloud hosting platform of choice.
In close collaboration with natural catastrophe experts, you lead the design, implementation and testing of our core applications.

About you

- You have a wealth of experience in a lead position, in-charge of building public cloud applications, preferably in Java
- Experience in systems design, high performance / parallel computing (HPC). GPU programming as a plus
- Understanding of the implications and the trade-offs of different solutions with regards to performance, reliability, availability and security
- Strong problem-solving and collaborative mindset
Minimum base salary for this job from 3300 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits. We are required by law to disclose basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised positions.
