Legal Counsel (80-100%, Hybrid, Temporary)

About the Role

 

As part of the Corporate Governance & Operations team, you will support on legal, regulatory and corporate governance matters for our entities in EMEA and their global branches. You will provide critical support to ensure regulatory and statutory requirements are met with precision and foresight. Examples of key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating management, board and shareholder meetings, including preparing agendas and pre-reading, minuting meetings and tracking action items
  • Drafting, reviewing and arranging execution of corporate documents, including resolutions and powers of attorney
  • Preparing and coordinating filings with regulators and commercial registers
  • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of corporate information in central systems and corporate archives, supporting on due diligence and information requests
  • Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures, process flows and training content
  • Supporting internal restructuring projects and corporate events throughout the lifecycle of a company
  • Liaising with notaries, external legal advisors and regulatory bodies

Note that this role is for a temporary position (maternity cover).

You are a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills and a commitment to

Your ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy makes you stand out, as does your commitment to ethical business practices and discretion when handling sensitive information. You thrive in a collaborative environment but can also drive matters independently.

 

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Legal qualification
  • 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within an international context
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)

 

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Experience with multi-jurisdictional corporate structures
  • Familiarity with entity management software systems, technological savviness
  • Project management experience
  • Additional European language skills

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 1900 EUR and 3200 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
