Operations Specialist (Hybrid option)

As an Operations Specialist, you'll be tasked with managing strategic people-planning activities, supporting various reporting needs and analysing financial and operational performance across our divisions.
About the team
The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for all aspects of cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk, and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy.
As part of the Security Team, the Strategy & Operations Centre of Excellence drives the Security Team's overall strategy and acts as a hub for its continuous improvement with a strong focus on culture, ambition and mandate. We're looking for an experienced individual who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Security Team.
In your role, you will…
- Oversee and execute the strategic workforce planning process
 - Support Divisional Operations Officer with coordinating recruitment activities across the division (in collaboration with the Management and the Recruitment teams)
 - Keep track of divisional financial performance and collaborate closely with key stakeholders
 - Create and compile management presentations, reports and analyses of workforce-related simple data
 - Ensure adherence to the governance framework
 - Oversee Objectives & Key Results and manage quarterly review processes
 - Prepare, coordinate and lead leadership meetings and divisional events
 - Act as a trusted partner and go-to person for operational questions for the leadership team and the entire division
 
Your qualifications

What we need from you
- High energy, proactivity, can-do attitude and flexibility
 - Experience in operations management, project management, consulting or similar areas
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confidence in working with leadership teams
 - Proficiency in MS Office (Office 365) products like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and communication tools like Teams, SharePoint
 - Confidence in working with data and deriving insights from reports (e.g., dashboards, Excel pivot tables)
 - Strong focus on detail and solution-oriented approach
 - Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
 
Nice-to-have
- Experience with data integration and data visualisation tools (Power BI, PowerApps)
 - Experience working in HR and/or Recruitment
 - Experience in the field of Cybersecurity
 
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,900 and EUR 3,200 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, 
 - the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
 
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
