The P&C Re Market Operations & Performance team is a global, international team with colleagues based around the world. We collaborate closely with senior leaders in the P&C Reinsurance Business Unit to shape and enable the strategic direction of P&C on a global scale. As Swiss Re's largest Business Unit, P&C Re is responsible for all Property & Casualty (Non-Life) Reinsurance business worldwide.

 

About the role

 

As a member of the P&C Re Market Operations & Performance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting key strategic and operational initiatives for P&C Re. This position offers high exposure and direct interaction with senior leaders, providing you with a unique opportunity to influence decision-making at the highest levels. This role will enable you to hone your skills in strategic problem-solving, performance monitoring and reporting, operational excellence, and effective communication

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Shape and drive projects and activities that contribute to P&C Re's strategic objectives

  • Take a leading role in the preparation of presentations for internal management meetings and external events (e.g., client or media events), ensuring clear and concise visualization and excellent presentation design

  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on critical topics, such as productivity benchmarks, market share analysis, and progress reports, to support data-driven decision making. This includes managing dashboards and regular structured activities

  • Lead process management tasks, including Executive Committee and other committee processes (agenda setting, action item tracking), and support internal management of local entity boards

  • Handle ad-hoc activities as needed, demonstrating resilience and flexibility

  • Engage in stakeholder management across P&C Re and the Group (incl. Strategy, Finance, Communications, Data & Tech, Swiss Re Institute, Group Underwriting, HR)

  • Utilize data visualization techniques to present findings effectively

 

About you:

Essentials:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting or strategy

  • Excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel

  • Extensive experience preparing presentations for senior stakeholders

  • Language skills: English fluent (verbal and written)

  • Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex information into clear, concise formats

  • Ability to independently conduct tasks and lead projects, taking ownership and driving initiatives

  • Strong motivation to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time

  • Ability to work under pressure and quickly absorb new topics and tasks

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills

 

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3 000 and EUR 5 000 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

 

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​

  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​

 

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.​

 

Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
