Payroll Quality Assurance Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Quality Assurance Manager with background in business management, operational excellence and/or Payroll to develop and maintain the quality of payroll. This role will be responsible to support Payroll business management activities as well as help to manage and improve the process documentation practices to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance across the global Payroll Function organization.
About the Role
• Process documentation and maintenance in line with the with the business requirements considering the requirements from audit and operational risk management
• Assessing the risks and defining and maintaining the respective controls
• Coordination and support of the audits from the various audit functions in Swiss Re
• Coordination and support in building up, maintaining and performing the new external reporting requirements for national and multinational authorities and organizations such as Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CRSD) and Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)
• Supporting the national and international compliance of the payroll function in Swiss Re
• Monitoring and review the ADP SOC reports including the Complementary Clients Controls
• Design and maintains Payroll KPI's
• Maintaining and updating the operational resilience framework for the global Payroll Function
About You
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Payroll or a related field
• Good understanding of quality, risk mitigation aspects and audit requirements
• Proven experience operational management, preferably in a corporate environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Familiarity with the Payroll function and related processes
Preferred Skills:
• Strong understanding of process documentation methodologies and tools
• Experience with task mining tools and process improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of operational rigour and process adherence standards
• Knowledge of supporting audits
Requirements:
• Several years of experience in either working in multi country Payroll, Business Management and/or Audit
• Fluent in Business English
• Experience in working in multinational and multicultural environment
• Experience in building KPIs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and process documentation software
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment #LI-Hybrid
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1800 and EUR 2900 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
