About the role

 

We are looking for a proactive, experienced team member to own the Financial processes, to act as the key finance contact for portfolios and working closely with the wider iptiQ Finance team, iptiQ Data Operations Team, Distribution Partners and Third-Party Administrators.

Your primary responsibilities will be:
•    Support the team in oversee, and liaise the Third-Party Policy Administrator finance and accounting activity, ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of incoming financial data
•    Support comprehensive analysis and business commentaries with respect to the accounting policy, reporting, monitoring and reconciliation activities according the management requirements
•    Contribute and support Finance related projects, including new deals and other ad-hoc tasks as required
•    Assist preparation of timely and accurate data for internal and external reporting
•    Support internal / external audit activities and prepare requested information
•    Ensure compliance with the risk and control framework
•    Perform quality and consistency checks on outputs

•    iptiQ EMEA L&H Carrier CFO
•    Group Finance and iptiQ Financial Reporting Team
•    Internal / External audit
•    External administrators and Distribution Partners

 

About You:


•    Three or more years of work experience in the financial services industry (work experience in a controls/audit role is desirable)
•    Experience in complex Accounting
•    Detail orientation, financial and analytical thinking, working under own initiative
•    University degree in Economics, Science, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience
•    Qualification in Accounting and/or Audit or equivalent experience
•    Strong communication skills – able to explain complex issues in a clear and concise fashion
•    PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
•    Teammate with good interpersonal skills and an engaging and motivating persona
•    Advanced English language ability

Minimum base salary for this job from 1500 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.
