Portfolio Monitoring Specialist

Mission of the Middle Office Portfolio Monitoring team is to ensure proper compliance setup, monitoring and reporting related to the investment universe managed by Asset Management. This includes, monitoring of Investment Guidelines, Luxembourg Funds, green investments, Investment Mandates and other regulations and sanctions issued to internal and external investment managers by using smart and modern technologies.

 

About Role

 

Main responsibilities:

 

•    Ensure that Investment guidelines, Mandates, regulations and other internal and external requirements are properly monitored from investment perspective
•    Implementation/coding and reconciliation of restrictions and limits in the monitoring systems
•    Breach investigation, reporting & documentation
•    Automation of existing tasks, onboarding of new tasks related to investment monitoring
•    Constant development in technical/IT skills
•    Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. Investment steering, Compliance, Trade desks, Asset Management Operations & Middle Office and others
•    Pro-active contribution and enthusiastic approach to assigned tasks
•    Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor

 

About You

 

•    University degree in economics and/ or business administration, (preferably with a finance focus)
•    Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments 
•    Min. 1 year of relevant work experience and/ or university accompanying  part time work is a plus
•    An additional plus is any international experience and dealings with other cultures
•    Very good know how of MS Office, specifically MS Excel
•    Diligent and accurate working style
•    Willingness to learn, openness and flexibility to take on new tasks and challenges, be able to take the true ownership
•    Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines 
•    Good analytical skills and detail orientation

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1800 and EUR 3000 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
