Process Specialist

About the Role 

 

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about creating high-quality process documentation that enables operational excellence? Do you enjoy working closely with business teams to ensure documentation is accurate, accessible and consistently maintained? 

As a Process Specialist, you are responsible for producing, maintaining and improving process documentation across assigned business areas. Working closely with Process Experts, Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts, you ensure that processes, standards, guidelines, SOPs and work instructions remain accurate, current and aligned with approved business practices. 

You play an important role in maintaining the integrity of the organisation's process landscape by supporting documentation governance, quality reviews, training materials and operational change activities. Your work enables colleagues across P&C Re to understand how work should be performed and supports consistent execution across global operations. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Process documentation and maintenance 

 

  • Develop, update and maintain business process documentation across all documentation levels (L1-L6).  
  • Produce process maps, SOPs, work instructions, guidelines and supporting documentation using approved standards and templates.  
  • Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, easy to understand and reflects current business practice.  
  • Maintain version control and ensure documentation repositories remain current and organised.  
  • Support regular documentation reviews to ensure continued accuracy.  

 

Documentation quality and governance 

 

  • Perform quality checks to ensure documentation complies with established documentation standards.  
  • Coordinate review and approval activities with Process Owners and business stakeholders.  
  • Support governance activities by tracking documentation status, approvals and review cycles.  
  • Assist in maintaining documentation inventories and reporting on documentation health.  
  • Ensure audit evidence and documentation records are maintained appropriately.  

 

Business engagement and support 

 

  • Work directly with Subject Matter Experts to capture business knowledge and document processes accurately.  
  • Support workshops, interviews and walkthroughs to understand existing and future processes.  
  • Assist Process Experts in documenting changes arising from transformation initiatives or regulatory updates.  
  • Respond to stakeholder queries relating to process documentation and standards.  
  • Support communication activities relating to documentation updates.  

 

Training and knowledge management 

 

  • Support the development and maintenance of training materials for the P&C Re Operations Academy.  
  • Assist with onboarding materials and role-based learning content.  
  • Ensure learning materials remain aligned with approved documentation.  
  • Support training administration, attendance tracking and learning feedback activities.  
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives across the global team.  

 

Continuous improvement 

 

  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation quality, consistency and usability.  
  • Recommend enhancements to templates, standards and documentation tools.  
  • Support documentation maturity assessments and improvement initiatives.  
  • Assist in monitoring documentation metrics and reporting progress against agreed objectives.  
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational excellence.  

 

About the Team 

 

The Processes & Standards team is responsible for creating and maintaining the trusted documentation foundation that supports operational excellence across P&C Re. Working as part of Operational Effectiveness & Governance, the team enables consistent execution through high-quality process documentation, governance and organisational capability. 

The team works closely with business stakeholders across Business Operations, Claims, Technology, Risk and Transformation to ensure documentation remains accurate, accessible and aligned with evolving business needs. 

 

About You 

 

  • Experience in process documentation, business analysis, operational excellence or business operations.  
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written communication skills.  
  • Experience creating process maps, SOPs, work instructions or operational documentation.  
  • Good understanding of documentation governance and version control principles.  
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.  
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across different functions and geographies.  
  • Proactive, collaborative and committed to delivering high-quality work.  
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to understand complex operational processes. 
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to simplify and standardise ways of working.

 

This is temporary maternity cover contract for 2 years.

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1800 and EUR 3000 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

 

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​

  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​
