About the Team


Group Procurement enables our business to find and procure goods and services at best value for money and at acceptable risk, as efficiently as possible. As a Procurement Governance Manager, you will collaborate with various teams globally. You will be part of Procurement Business Management Team that focuses on procurement governance, departmental practices and strategic initiatives.  By engaging with the local Group Procurement community, you will foster a collaborative and friendly working environment.

 

About the Role

 

As a Procurement Governance Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

•    Keep oversight of procurement controls environment and ensure it is fit for purpose in line with an ever-changing business and/or risk environment

•     Manage proper identification and reporting any gaps in procurement processes and controls 
•     Manage quarterly submission of Risk Controls Self-Assessment 
•     Manage the Standards & Controls Framework annual review while ensuring all the changes are properly embedded and communicated where required 
•     Engage in various initiatives/projects related to addressing risk and controls in purchasing
•     Manage collection and adjustment of procurement inputs to risk and controls related initiatives
•     Constantly enhance awareness and understanding of managing operational risks related to purchasing to foster operational risk culture
•     Develop and/or continually enhance practices for effective management of operational risks related to purchasing
•     Consult on audit advisory matters (both internally and externally)
•     Manage relationships with internal stakeholders
•     Lead internal collaboration forums 

 

About You

 

•    Procurement/Governance expertise – You bring more than five years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing and/or Governance
•    Governance frameworks: You bring solid experience in building, enhancing and monitoring governance frameworks. You have proven ability to develop and implement effective, robust policies and procedures. You have a solid understanding of risks, controls and incident reporting
•    Consultancy and stakeholder management: You have well-developed ability to provide professional advice, expertise and guidance whilst anticipating the internal client's needs. With your strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy and the ability to influence, you can deal comfortably with stakeholders at any levels
•    Analytical and critical thinking: You arrive at optimal and pragmatics solutions by gathering, evaluating, and synthesizing relevant and available information from a variety of sources and stakeholders. To prevent the underlying causes of problems and issues for the future, you
properly review and consider past symptoms
•    Education – You have bachelor's degree at a minimum; ideally, in fields such as business administration, finance or law. CIPS or similar professional qualification would be beneficial.
•    Language – You speak English fluently

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,900 and EUR 4,900 per month (for a full-time role). 
The specific salary offered considers:
•    the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
•    the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
