Procurement Operations Specialist

The Procurement Operations Specialist drives internal procurement services throughout the end-to-end vendor life cycle while supporting category, regional and execution teams. You will enjoy this role the most if you like frequent and flexible communication with internal clients using technology to bridge physical distances.

 

About the Role 


You would be accountable for end-to-end procurement activities responsible for providing guidance and support in Source to Contract process. Critical responsibilities include presenting and explaining procurement processes while providing task resolution.  


Key Responsibilities:
•    Communication of procurement processes to internal clients
•    Execution of procurement operations activities and data quality tasks 
•    Responsibility for building and maintaining user self-service and process guidance

 

About the Team 


Procurement Operations is accountable for end-to-end procurement activities responsible for smooth running and continual improvement of customer service anticipating the user communities needs with the focus on creating positive user experience.

 

About You 


Ideally, you have 5 years of experience in the procurement, insurance, re-insurance, or financial services industry. You are confident communicator who can engage with colleagues in person, in writing and online meetings. As a critical thinker, you are naturally detail-oriented professional, and teamwork stimulates you. 

 

Essentials:
•    University graduate with a degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting
•    Proficient in English, other language desirable
•    MS Office Tools; Procurement Systems; Governance/Legal/Regulatory/Financial Acumen

 

Nice to Haves:
•    Adeptly prioritize completing tasks and manage timelines
•    Drive continuous improvement, seeking out new solutions and ways of working 
•    Adaptable to work with diverse people and roles, contribute to positive team spirit  

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,900 and EUR 3,200 per month (for a full-time role). 
The specific salary offered considers:
•    the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
•    the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
