Reporting & Monitoring Specialist (hybrid)
ABOUT THE ROLE

We are offering an exciting opportunity to help us continuously improve and assure our data quality in L&H Operations and ensure frameworks are properly executed, to protect us from financial volatility and operational risk at every stage of the Operations value chain – from onboarding to claims payments.
Major responsibilities:
- Execute on the global data quality framework in Operations, performing a set of defined checks on a regular basis to ensure data quality standards are met
- Prepare and report on findings regularly, and leverage insights from findings to feed back into continuous improvement activities in L&H Operations
- Work with business networks to understand wider data quality needs and levers, and assess the relevance to Operations reporting and quality controlling activities
- Maintain a good insight to day-to-day Operations and ensure the dots are connected between BAU process, quality checking and formal controls, considering also the role of Insights teams
- Perform analysis and make interpretations which guide assessment of warning signs in the context of Operational weaknesses
- Execution of Ops reporting frameworks, delivering timely reporting to Ops LT and supporting steering activities with data driven insights to Operational performance
- Represent Operations in various forums and organisation wide activities as needed.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The team consists of 8+ members currently located in different offices across key Swiss Re offices globally, working closely with the Market Units, COO teams, Risk management and IT partners.
You would be working as part of a wider CoE team, which also covers process, data and tech and skills and capabilities pillars.

- You have proven track record in delivery and execution.
- You enjoy solving problems and analysing information
- You can work with data at an intermediate or advanced level in different forms and on different platforms
- You have deep knowledge of L&H Operations processes and bring an e2e mindset
- You have an eye for detail and a preference to work diligently but with simple and pragmatic approaches
- You are a strong communicator and can effectively and objectively convey problems and suggest solutions
- You have excellent organisational skills
- You have the ability and willingness to challenge the status quo
- You have excellent command of spoken and written English
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 1 800 EUR and 3 000 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
