Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our Corporate Functions IT organization. You will work closely with Product Owners and Engineering Leads of The Squads which deliver and manages end-to-end digital solutions to Swiss Re’s Corporate Functions. With your help, the Squad(s) can understand their performance and continuously identify improvement opportunities.

 

About the Role

  • Support Product Owners of three different Squad(s) to manage and prioritize the Product backlog.
  • Conduct Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to agile principles.
  • Help to remove obstacles, foster collaboration, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Lead the Squad(s) to be self-organized.
  • Support and promote an effective feedback culture based on the Agile values.
  • Ensure that decisions are made within the Squad(s), encouraging, and supporting Squad(s) members to assume responsibility for their decisions.
  • Measure and monitor the squad's Agile maturity and provide constructive feedback to the team to help continuously improve.
  • Enable Squad(s) to track progress and output through dashboards (e.g., burn-down charts) and other reporting systems and maintain relevant metrics and artefacts.

About the Team

The Corporate Functions InfoTech team is part of Group Functions IT in Group Digital & Technology Organization. The team delivers and manages end-to-end digital solutions to Swiss Re’s Corporate Functions. Corporate Functions InfoTech (i) enables employees to be their best and empower them to grow and deliver business value from first contact to leaving, (ii) provides employees with a safe and supported environment during their working journey wherever they are working from and clients a service excellence with professional hospitality and an engaging digital experience, (iii) provides solutions for services to build sustainable business platforms, manage (external) spend, ensure compliance and drive business excellence.

 

About You

As a successful candidate for this role, you possess:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Having Agile/Scrum certification is a plus
  • Demonstrable experience of Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, etc...)
  • A continuous improvement mind-set and dedication to uncovering better ways of working.
  • The ability to lead, coach, inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and people-interaction skills, incl. strong English skills (verbal, written).
  • The ability to apply innovative and creative thinking to solve problems together with the squad to constructively address challenges and roadblocks.
  • Experience in leveraging tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Miro, MS Teams to support effective (virtual) collaboration.

 

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2200 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group.
