Senior Access Management Specialist (Hybrid option)

Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As the Senior Access Management Specialist, you'll be tasked with analysing, simplifying, and improving our security processes, leading access review activities for Swiss Re users, and co-creating automated solutions to streamline the company's process efficacy. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.

 

About the team

 

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, Access Product Operations is a team responsible for providing expert access role management services, setting up related processes per compliance requirements, and efficiently controlling access role life cycle processes for all Swiss Re users. We're looking for an experienced engineer who'll help us to improve our processes and services via diligent analysis and ensure our security agenda is properly followed.

 

In your role, you will…

•    Work closely with the business domains to keep their access roles and bundles up to date and proactively propose improvements
•    Monitor that the access roles are implemented according to the designed model and defined IT General Controls.
•    Monitor and evaluate the defined Key Performance Indicators & Compliance Metrics 
•    Visualize relevant Key Performance Indicators on internal dashboards
•    Integrate application access roles into standard tools and processes, adhering to IT Security and Governance standards and regulatory compliance in respect of Identity & Access Management
•    Update the documentation – helping to describe all access service elements so that our engineers may lead coherent consultations with our customers
•    Manage the complete access role life cycle during releases and infrastructure changes, ensuring that all changes are approved and logged by those responsible (adding, tracking, changing, and removing role definitions)
•    Support the community in case of inquiries by solving issues and addressing inquirers
•    Support the resolution of incidents and problems related to access services, acting as third-level support
•    Take over additional responsibilities occurring within the team such as (a) improving the respective processes and the quality management system contributing to enhanced customer experience and higher efficiency and (b) supporting compliance and audit reviews
•    Communicate issues timely, appropriately, and clearly to both internal and external customers as well as to team members
•    Foster a culture of learning and development 
•    Participate in global projects and act as point of contact in given areas
•    Proactively oversee potential issues and problems in the access management area – based on the experience of the environment and toolset – and report back to the supervisor
•    Be someone who believes in continuous innovation, is curious and relentless in finding a better way every day  


Your qualifications

 

•    What we need from you:
o    
Passion, drive and a belief in the value of access management as an enabler of business performance
o    5+ years of Experience in access management and/or IT delivery environment as well as end-user support+
o    Knowledge in IT (general) as well as security systems and admin platforms like HOST, Database, Windows, and Active Directory
o    Practical knowledge of MS Excel
o    Basic knowledge of SQL
o    ITIL knowledge certification (Foundation) or similar
o    Proven experience with application management, access management concepts (RBAC/RBAM) and access and application-related tools
o    Experience in cross-functional work and cultural sensitivity
o    Ability to work under pressure
o    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o    Independent and responsive in character and work
