About the Role
As a Senior Account Analyst in our International Financial Management team, you'll be at the heart of ensuring compliant and efficient risk transfers and cash flows between our local offices and reinsurance partners. You'll manage technical accounting for international insurance programs while contributing to reporting, analytics, and process improvements that drive our global business forward.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage technical accounting - Book, reconcile, and settle technical accounts with high data quality standards on a monthly basis
• Produce financial documentation - Create monthly statements for partners and process outgoing payments related to assigned International Programs
• Resolve discrepancies - Identify and address reconciliation findings with respective internal and external functions
• Monitor portfolio performance - Keep the portfolio up to date and deliver results on a monthly basis
• Ensure service excellence - Liaise with other functions to maintain service standards and respond promptly to partner inquiries
• Reconcile accounts - Ensure accurate reconciliation of International Programs technical accounts in administration systems and support Finance on financial ledger reconciliations
• Validate data integrity - Compare incoming co-reinsurance data against actual contracts and authorize accordingly
• Process improvement - Define, implement, and manage processes relating to technical accounting and credit control
• Risk assessment - Maintain control over risk evaluation and mitigation strategies
• Project participation - Contribute to system enhancements, reports, analyses, and other ad-hoc projects as needed
About the Team
The International Financial Management team's mandate is to technically account for transactions of policies included in International Programs, ensuring compliant and efficient risk transfers and cash flows between local offices and Reinsurance partners. We're responsible for reporting, analytics, and commentaries regarding International Programs, including monthly aged debt reports, premium flows, and consolidation of accounts by client program. Working within the International Business Team, you'll join a highly motivated and dynamic team in an interesting and complex environment, with opportunities to build reporting, consolidation, and analytical capabilities.
About You
You're a detail-oriented finance professional who can balance technical precision with big-picture thinking. You thrive in collaborative environments but are equally comfortable working independently. Your strong communication skills allow you to explain complex financial concepts clearly to various stakeholders, and you're committed to continuous improvement in all aspects of your work.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
• University degree in finance, accounting, or economics (or equivalent)
• 4-5 years of relevant working experience in insurance/reinsurance
• Previous insurance technical accounting experience
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to deliver quality output to tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

For Slovakia, the base salary range for this position is between 2,100 Eur and 3,400 Eur for a full-time role.
The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
