About the Team


The Global Investment Reporting (GIR) team has the ownership of the Investment Financial Accounting sub-ledger and reporting requirements for all valuations across Swiss Re locations.

 

About the Role


The role is within GIR Group IFRS Reporting & Accounting team. The team provides to internal counterparties investment data used for the preparation of Group Financial statements and Assets Management reporting. Together with your colleagues, you will:
•    ensure accounting treatment and valuation of broad range of financial products such as bonds, loans, equities, derivatives and others are complete, accurate, and follow IFRS
•    ensure the accuracy of information used for Notes to Financial Statements and Asset management reporting
•    assess and analyse accounting irregularities and propose areas for improvement and optimization
•    cooperate with the Business analysts to ensure new/changing reporting requirements are translated into delivered data and configuration.


About You


•    University degree in Accounting and/or Finance
•    Minimum 3 – 5 years of work experience in finance, preferably in investments area or banking/insurance industry
•    Good financial background and understanding of Financial Statements and disclosures
•    Familiarity with IFRS
•    Can do approach, curious mind keen to learn new technologies
•    Responsible with high degree of personal accountability
•    High-quality and timely delivery focus
•    Working independently as well as part of a team and effectively manage priorities
•    Ability to deal with ambiguity and influence positive outcomes
•    Communicative with ability to interact with all levels within organization

 

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2100 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
