About the Role

You would take ownership for the DevOps and Cloud infrastructure related aspects, allowing delivering high-value solutions and features as part of our agile setup, playing a pivotal role in driving an exciting client-facing product to new heights.

 

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Plan and execute of infrastructure improvements to guarantee a stable rollout of features together with the feature Squads and architects
  • Coordinate and manage the release process, working in collaboration with feature and quality Squads
  • Hands-on contribution in analyzing and resolving system instabilities
  • Take care of vulnerabilities and coordinate their timely resolution

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a background in Azure cloud services, and proficient knowledge in development (C#, Angular). You should be a collaborative person, ready to drive the successful delivery of our innovative features and solutions, in a fast-paced and agile environment.

  • Educational Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in agile environments.
  • Technical Proficiency in…
    • Azure Cloud Services (e.g., AKS, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, ServiceBus)
    • Azure DevOps (e.g., Pipelines, Artifactory, Sonatype, Terraform, Docker)
    • Security (e.g., Cloudflare, EntraID, Okta, OAUTH…)
    • Quality and vulnerability (e.g., SonarQube, Invicti, Auqa)
    • Programming (e.g., C#, Angular)
  • Excellent Communication Skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with the team and collaborators.
  • Proactive and Collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver quality solutions

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 3,800] and [EUR 6,300] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
