Senior Digital & Technology Risk Manager

Join our global Digital & Technology Risk Management team and help us protect Swiss Re's client data, intellectual property, and IT assets. 

As a representative of our function, you'll focus primarily on the iptiQ business unit, partnering with local teams to anticipate and mitigate key digital and technology risks. You'll play a crucial role in conducting risk assessments and reviews of business processes and IT solutions.

About the role

 

As a Senior Digital & Technology Risk Manager, you'll have the opportunity to:
•    Develop expertise in information security and IT governance risks for each iptiQ platform and stay up to date on the status of key controls.
•    Use your analytical skills to perform deep dives on high-risk areas, drive prioritization of issues, and advise management on mitigation strategies and cost-benefit trade-offs.
•    Support the implementation of Swiss Re's Operational Risk Management framework, policies, and standards, and document gaps, incidents, and remedial actions.
•    Communicate complex concepts by preparing risk dashboards, reports, and presentations for iptiQ management and Swiss Re governance bodies.
•    Collaborate with IT and information security experts while retaining an independent Risk Management perspective.

 

 

About you

 

As a Senior Digital & Technology Risk Manager, you are:
•    Experienced with at least 5 years track record in information technology/security, IT audit, risk management or risk consulting.
•    Eager to learn and expand your knowledge regarding risk assessment and risk control, IT governance, cyber risk mitigation and Swiss Re risk management standards.
•    Analytical with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
•    Independent and able to work as part of a team.
•    Knowledgeable with practical implementation experience of security frameworks and regulations (ISO27001/2, NIST, HIPAA, OWASP).
•    Familiar with the security aspects of Microsoft technologies and multi-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and AWS.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

 

As a Senior Digital & Technology Risk Manager, you are encouraged to think independently and have a natural curiosity to research and understand the context and the bigger picture. You are self-motivated to conduct your own research and are strongly focused on continuous personal development in the field to keep up to date on new and emerging technologies, regulations, and risks.

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,900 and EUR 4,900 per month (for a full-time role).

The specific salary offered considers:
•    the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
•    the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
