Senior Divisional Cost Partner
About the Role
We are looking for a senior financial professional to join our team of Divisional Cost Partners based in Bratislava.
As Financial Analyst and member of the L&H Re Cost Management team you will be driving the direct and full cost planning, reporting and projection processes in close cooperation with the Divisional Operations Officers, and supporting department and markets heads for EMEA and the L&H Re CUO division as first point of contact on any question related to direct costs.

Your main responsibilities:
• Lead and standardize the Direct Cost processes (Planning, Projections, Operational Cost Management) for L&H Reinsurance overall in collaboration with your DCP colleagues
• Drive annual direct cost planning and alignment processes for your assigned departments and markets
• Deliver monthly cost analysis and reports, run quarterly direct cost projection processes for your assigned departments and markets
• Main point of contact on all cost related topics for your assigned departments and markets, including cost structure, reorganizations, budget transfers, etc.
• Constructive challenging of cost budgeting and cost management
• Assist in the consolidation and financial reporting of the L&H Reinsurance Business Unit
• Become a specialist in the multiple systems being leveraged for cost transparency
• Participate in various projects as it relates to cost analysis, systems and processes in order to drive optimization, to enhance transparency and to create productivity
About the Team
The L&H RE Cost Management team is part of the L&H Finance Division with staff in locations in EMEA and Asia. The team mandate is to provide transparency and analysis on direct, indirect, full costs and IFRS expenses to our stakeholders. We develop and execute expenses plans, forecasts, and performance assessments. We interact with a number of stakeholder teams in a cross functional and global environment.
About You
• University degree or diploma in controlling/finance or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience in related field
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment. Be flexible.
• Self-motivated, proactive and client focused mentality
• Ability to work in a virtual global team environment
• Ability to motivate and lead colleagues in cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery
• Ability to work independently and make decisions/priorities in the face of complexity, conflicting pressures and ambiguous circumstances
• Advanced Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel
• Excellent command of English language

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3100 and EUR 5100 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
