Senior Finance Accounting Professional

About the Role

 

We are looking for a proactive, experienced team member to own the Financial processes, to act as the key finance contact for portfolios and work closely with the wider iptiQ Finance team, iptiQ Data Operations Team, Distribution Partners and Third-Party Administrators.

 

Your primary responsibilities will be:

 

  • Provide oversight of finance and accounting activity; ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of incoming financial data

  • Provide comprehensive analysis and business commentaries with respect to the accounting policy, reporting, monitoring and reconciliation activities according to the management requirements

  • Contribute and support Finance related projects, including new deals and other ad-hoc tasks as required

  • Support internal / external reporting and audit activities

  • Ensure compliance with the risk and control framework

  • Perform quality and consistency checks on technical trial balance

  • Head of Finance Operations, Bratislava

  • iptiQ EMEA L&H Carrier CFO

  • Group Finance and iptiQ Financial Reporting Team

  • Internal / External audit

  • External administrators and Distribution Partners

 

About You

 

  • Three or more years of work experience in the financial services industry (work experience in a controls/audit role is desirable)

  • Experience in Complex Accounting

  • High attention to detail, financial and analytical thinking, independent and proactive attitude

  • End to end ownership mindset with ability to see the bigger picture

  • University degree in Economics, Science, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience

  • Strong communication skills – able to explain complex issues in a clear and concise fashion

  • PC skills, strong MS Excel knowledge

  • Team-mate with good interpersonal skills and an engaging and motivating personality

  • Advanced Business English language ability

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1800 and EUR 3000 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

 

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​

  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​
