Senior Financial Governance Specialist (Hybrid)

In this role, you will:
•    Lead and shape improvements of the internal control framework
•    Drive risk assessments for major projects
•    Oversee Financial Reporting Risk monitoring
•    Lead control improvement plan activities and global Risk & Governance projects
•    Provide high-impact audit advisory services (internally and externally)
•    Supervise and ensure timely resolution of open issues
•    Coordinate quarterly control reviews with CFOs


About the Team


The Group Finance Governance team is part of Group Finance and acts as a trusted advisor on financial processes, risks and controls. We partner across the organisation to maintain a strong internal control system, safeguard financial reporting integrity and ensure audit readiness. We drive automation and optimisation initiatives, and we own key aspects of the IFRS governance framework.


About You
•    University degree in Economics, Finance or related field
•    Strong experience (7+ years) in Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Audit or similar disciplines
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
•    Excellent English (written and spoken)
•    Strong business acumen and ability to understand stakeholder needs
•    Ownership mentality, ability to lead initiatives and challenge established processes
•    Comfort working with ambiguity and complex projects
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Power Apps
•    Working knowledge of Stargate or similar governance/controls platforms
•    Passion for automation, simplification and innovation in financial governance

 


Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week 

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3,200 and EUR 5,300 per month (for a full-time role).  
The specific salary offered considers: 

•    the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, 

•    the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience. 
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits.
