About the Role
Join our legal entities reporting team and play a key role in statutory reporting, finance transformation, and stakeholder engagement — directly influencing strategic decision-making across Swiss Re's global legal entities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead statutory and regulatory reporting for a portfolio of legal entities (e.g. service, real estate, investment, financing, and holding entities)
- Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to explain financial performance, and transform complex data into actionable insights for management
- Actively manage key Balance Sheet and Income Statement positions, supporting capital, liquidity, and dividend decisions
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prepare concise, data-driven reporting packs, including presenting results to senior finance leadership and Boards of Directors
- Drive enhancements in legal entity finance processes and complex business transactions, with a focus on Swiss Re Group's non-technical entities
- Contribute to finance innovation through standardisation, automation, and scalable reporting solutions, such as Palantir Foundry and AI-enabled tools, to build more efficient, compliant, and data-driven operations
- Act as a key contact for assigned entities, liaising with internal partners globally and external stakeholders, including statutory auditors
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and control frameworks, continuously enhancing controls, governance, and data quality
About the team
Our Bratislava-based Non-Technical Carriers Reporting team is responsible for end-to-end financial reporting for non-technical entities globally, with a focus on key Swiss Re hubs including Switzerland, Luxembourg, the UK, the US, and South-East Asia.

You are a proactive, curious, and analytically minded finance professional who brings both rigour and a strong team-oriented, collaborative spirit to everything you do. Energised by complex financial topics, you have a proven ability for transforming data into clear, actionable narratives. You enjoy working closely with others across cultures and functions, take ownership, and are always looking for smarter ways of working.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- University degree and 3+ years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or a related field
- Proven experience in preparation, reporting, analysis, or audit of full financial statements and disclosures under global or local frameworks (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP, Slovak GAAP)
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality output combined with sound business judgement
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively at senior management level
- Solid understanding of financial processes, controls, and data governance principles
- Professional working proficiency in English is required
Additional qualifications (advantageous):
- ACCA qualification or equivalent (or working towards qualification)
- Hands-on experience with automation, AI-powered analytics, or digital finance initiatives and solutions, such as Palantir Foundry, Power BI, or similar tools
- Exposure to process improvement or finance transformation projects
- Proficiency in an additional European language, particularly German
Salary information
For Slovakia, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,100 and EUR 3,400 per month for a full-time role.

- The applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills, and experience
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements, or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
Our company follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be present in the office at least 50% of working time.
