Senior QA Engineer

About the Role
As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll be the quality guardian for our business applications, focusing
primarily on establishing and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks. You'll set up and
coordinate testing activities, integrate tests into our CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with
developers and business stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of
reliability and performance. Your analytical mindset will be essential in creating comprehensive
test strategies that address complex business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
-Create and maintain automated tests for applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage
and reliability
-Set up and run automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality
assurance
-Design and develop detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business
requirements
-Apply analytical thinking to identify potential issues and develop testing strategies that
address complex scenarios
-Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand
requirements
-Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks across the
team
About the Team
Our team develops, extends and maintains business applications. Both business user group and
respective solutions range from very tailored and specialized to large applications for hundreds of
users. The content covers the use case for data capture, integration, transformation to BPM
solutions. We closely collaborate with other teams around the globe.
About You
You're a quality-focused professional with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Your
passion for test automation and ability to design comprehensive testing strategies sets you
apart. You thrive in collaborative environments where you can apply your technical expertise to
improve processes and drive quality outcomes. You're meticulous about documentation and have
a proven track record of implementing effective automated testing solutions that integrate
seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
-Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (such as Cypress. Playwright,
Selenium, TestNG, or similar)
-Proven ability to set up and run automated tests in CI/CD environments (Jenkins, GitLab CI,
etc.)
-Experience creating detailed test plans and comprehensive test cases for complex
applications
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality assurance
-Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language for test automation (Java,
Python, JavaScript)
These are additional nice to haves:
-Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured
-Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring tools
-Experience working in globally distributed teams
-Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at
least three days per week.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,800 and EUR 4,600 per month (for a full-time role).

• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience
