About role
As a Senior Quality Engineer specializing in automation, you will take ownership of the automation strategy within one of our product engineering team. You will lead the design, implementation, and evolution of advanced automated testing frameworks, driving continuous improvement in test quality and coverage. You’ll mentor and lead junior engineers, facilitate cross-team collaboration, and communicate testing outcomes to diverse stakeholders, setting the standard for quality and innovation across the organization.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Proactively lead and manage QA initiatives to ensure high-quality deliverables for our end-clients.
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable test automation frameworks and suites across multiple product lines under L&H solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate test automation tools, including build verification systems, IDE plugins, and linting programs, to optimize testing efficiency and reliability.
- Write and enforce test automation scripts following defined internal coding standards to ensure consistency and maintainability.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure infrastructure reliability.

- Hands-on experience in test automation, with strong familiarity in CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient test automation and continuous integration.
- Proven record of executing QA strategies and unification of QA processes.
- Experience designing automation solutions for complex architectures covering UI, services, files, and databases.
- Able to perform QA testing across both front-end (user interface) and back-end (server, APIs, databases) components of applications.
- Strong QA experience with a solid background in Enterprise Java technologies.
- Strong experience in compatibility testing and regression testing.
- Preferrable experience in leading and managing automation teams, while providing technical guidance and solutions to support successful delivery.
Preferrable experience in...
- Proficient in Java/J2EE, REST, JUnit/TestNG, and various test automation frameworks.
- Experience with front-end web application test automation tools including Selenium, WebDriver, Grid, Cucumber, JUnit, JMeter, Cypress.
- Experience REST API testing, data validation testing, and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks like SoapUI, Postman, Protractor, Rest Assured.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 3,800] and [EUR 6,300] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
