About the Role
As a Senior SAP FI Consultant, you'll be at the heart of our SAP S/4 HANA ecosystem — maintaining, designing and implementing innovative financial IT solutions. Key Responsibilities
- SAP customizing and system parametrisation to ensure robust, scalable and efficient IT solutions
- Conduct IT business analysis across key financial domains including Lease Accounting (RE-FX), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Bank Connectivity, Validations, Substitutions and IT interfaces with other systems
- Translate business requirements into functional designs and system specifications, covering all aspects of new solution implementations including testing and deployment to production
- Analyse, document and discuss requirements for new solutions and improvements in close collaboration with business experts, other SAP Business Analysts and Application Engineers
- Partner with ABAP developers during the realisation phase to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of business requirements through to production
- Support with incident handling, maintenance of productive IT solutions and provide quarter close support to ensure business continuity
About the Team
You'll be joining a diverse and dynamic team of SAP IT business analysts, UC4, CPI, ABAP and HANA developers and application engineers. Our globally distributed team works closely with internal Finance colleagues, with a significant and vibrant hub based right here in Bratislava. Our mission is to run, maintain, and continuously improve existing SAP functionalities while also developing innovative new solutions. We own multiple interfaces to and from SAP FI and a variety of custom solutions in SAP designed to support both internal and external requirements.
About You
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Finance or related Business field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience within SAP FI and SAP customizing
- Domain knowledge in Lease Accounting (RE-FX), Accounts Receivables (AR) and Accounts Payables (AP) would be an asset
- Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to apply it in the context of SAP data analysis and troubleshooting
- Ability to analyse and tackle business and IT related issues
- Strong conceptual thinking and high level of abstraction — the ability to quickly grasp complex systems and processes
- Excellent communication skills with a ''Can do" behaviour and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Great teammate, who works with dedication in the team, but also when working independently
- Resilience and adaptability — comfortable working under pressure and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong end-to-end ownership and proactive approach
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3,200 and EUR 5,300 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
