Senior Service Delivery Manager -Workplace Foundation
About the Role
Join Swiss Re as a Senior Workplace Service Delivery Manager expert!
You will manage operational delivery, governance, compliance and risks in the Digital Workplace – Workplace Foundation area. This includes the M365 platform, Messaging services, Governance, Compliance and Regulatory controls and the exciting new area of Workplace GenAI.
The role demands extensive hands-on experience in driving and delivering IT operations including vendor and stakeholder management, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud platforms, GenAI and IT Compliance and Governance topics.
In this role you will...
- Guarantee service delivery and operational excellence (including incident, change, service request and problem management, E2E performance management, relationship management).
- Ensure high quality of Workplace Foundation services, based on service metrics and customer experience insights, and through active steering and oversight of service providers and delivery teams.
- Manage the quality of delivery to ensure that objectives and agreed service levels are met, and Swiss Re compliance and security standards are fulfilled.
- Continuously seek to improve Digital Workplace service delivery, service operation and service management through both proactive and retroactive measures.
- Transform the Digital Workplace into a lean, automated, cost-efficient and evergreen service delivery model, underpinned by modern agile and DevSecOps practices.
- Prepare the service to be able to respond quickly to future demand growth and new service requirements.
- Manage overall governance, risk management and control assurance activities for Digital Workplace services, driving the policies, standards, processes and compliance.
- Work closely with service providers, product delivery and engineering teams to achieve the above.

You should bring some years of experience in a similar role and have a track record of successful operational and service delivery.
Essentials
- At least 10+ years of total IT experience out of which a minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in highly secured and regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of M365 platform and Messaging services, including related security and compliance capabilities such as Microsoft Purview and Defender toolset.
- Understand underlying components in the space of Security and Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, as well as provisioning, authorisation and authentication concepts.
- Strong working knowledge of data analytics (preferably Power BI), as well as process automation (preferably Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot).
- Strong understanding of IT service management processes and supporting tooling and technologies.
- Experience in managing service providers based on customer-centric metrics such as XLAs.
- Fluent English and good communication skills at all levels of the organisation.
Nice to have
- Experience in a global enterprise, preferably with experience in the insurance and financial sector.
- Experience with eDiscovery, Compliance Capture and Risk Management methodology.
- Experience working in agile SCRUM methodology.
