Senior Team Leader Investment Reporting
About the Role
The position holder is responsible for all the professional and administrative leadership team consisting of investment accounting professionals.
Key Accountabilities:
• Critically assess and examine the current accounting & reporting processes and deliverables and propose areas for improvement and optimization for the future target state
• Develop a solid understanding of data flow, system landscapes and system interactions impacting accounting transactions under relevant valuations and provide insight that helps to ensure a smooth flow of information through the accounting & reporting life cycle
• Strong contribution to the various stages of assigned projects while ensuring global alignment of all investment accounting and reporting processes
• Coordinate the assigned operations of 3rd party outsourcing provider
• Work hand in hand with projects Business Analysts to ensure Investment Reporting's requirements are translated into delivered products
• Ensure best practice methods and analysis tools are utilized
• Anticipate issues and develop appropriate and timely solutions and provide decision relevant input
• Ensure that stakeholder management and stakeholder alignment of interest are successfully met
• Coaching, assigning and monitoring the work of team members
• Ensure the team meets all the requirements and deadlines relating to the Investment reporting activities with emphasis to assigned projects
• Support team members with integration to team, with learning of processes, solving issues
• Actively participate and drives the team members towards constant improvement and innovation
About the Team
The Global Investment Reporting team has the ownership of the Investment Financial Accounting sub-ledger for investments for all valuations and related reporting deliverables, across different locations.
The role will sit in the Global Investment Reporting team with primary focus on Group IFRS Delivery.
Main reporting areas: Derivatives including Hedging, Financial Liabilities, Collateral and Security Lending reporting
About You
To be successful in this role, the following position requirements are essential:
• Minimum +5 years of relevant work experience
• University degree with emphasis in Accounting and/or Finance
• Prior Team Leading experience is an advantage
• Solid financial acumen and understanding of multi-valuation concept (US GAAP, Statutory & Regulatory, IFRS)
• Pro-active, forward looking mind set and high-quality delivery focus
• Global perspective and project-oriented mindset
• High level of interest in learning new technologies
• Solid communication skills and ability to interact with all levels within organization
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and influence positive outcomes
• Ability to effectively manage priorities and meet aggressive deadlines
• Leadership skills and ability to inspire the team

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3,200 and EUR 5,300 per month (for a full-time role).
The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
This is a maternity cover position.
