About the Role 

As a Senior Product Owner at Swiss Re, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of key digital products that deliver measurable business and customer value. You'll work in an Agile environment, closely collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Own and execute the product roadmap, ensuring continuous alignment with business goals and customer needs 

• Operate within Agile frameworks to review business needs, refine priorities, define milestones and deliverables, and assess risks and opportunities 

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to shape the product vision, strategy, and feature prioritization 

• Work closely with engineering, design/UX, analytics, and user enablement teams to deliver high-impact digital solutions 

• Translate product roadmap into detailed, well-defined requirements—including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria 

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing input from multiple stakeholders and focusing on business value 

• Lead the functional design process, grounded in a deep understanding of users, business workflows, and technology 

• Track and analyze product performance post-launch to inform optimization and future investment decisions

Our team is responsible for building products & solutions for the Corporate Solutions business unit. We work in a collaborative environment, partnering with teams and colleagues around the globe to share knowledge, best practices, and develop innovative insurance products that meet evolving market needs. 

About You 

We're looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for product development and technology who can balance business needs with technical possibilities. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate effectively across different audiences, and have a talent for translating complex requirements into clear, actionable plans that deliver value. 

We need you to bring in the following must haves: 

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a digital or technology environment 

• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional product teams 

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills 

These are additional nice to haves: 

• Proficiency in tools like Jira, or similar Agile management platforms 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with product performance metrics 

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry 

• Background in digital transformation initiatives 

• Knowledge of design thinking principles 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3,300 and EUR 5,400 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​  

- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​
